How do you feel today?  It is important to take time to check-in with your emotions.  Even the ones that don't make us feel super duper.  

2.

Set a routine that sets you up for personal success. Research shows that just 15-20 minutes of exercise in the morning helps to jump-start your day and all of the happy chemicals in the brain/gut.

Make realistic to-do lists.  Set short term and long term goals that you can measure and celebrate weekly, monthly, or throughout the year!

GET MOTIVATED AND MOVING! Coming to the realization that you are ready to feel better and make some healthy adjustments is HUGE! Keep the momentum going! Consistency is key! 

5.

Celebrate yourself every step of the way.  Moving forward after feeling down for any length of time sometimes feels like a VERY slow process.  Celebrate every small and large step, hop, skip, and stumble FORWARD. Each day is a new day.
